Pocket export converter
Pocket's export was a ZIP of CSV files. Unzip it, drop the CSV here, and download bookmarks HTML any browser can import — or JSON that keeps unread vs archive.
Then save the useful bits
These tools do not create a Markwise account. When you want the file in a library you can ask, start free and save a link. The file you just inspected is still on your machine.
Questions
Can I still export from Pocket?+
No. Pocket shut down in July 2025 and the export endpoint went dark on 8 October 2025. This tool is for people who already have the ZIP or CSV.
Do I need to convert the file to import into Markwise?+
No. Markwise imports Pocket's CSV directly. Use this converter when you want a browser bookmarks.html or a lossless JSON copy.
Are highlights in the CSV?+
No. Pocket's export was title, URL, Unix timestamp, tags, and unread/archive status. Article text and highlights were never in the file.
